Monday, August 21:
Mission accomplished! The day was a bit crazy: first day of school, total solar eclipse, lots of small little things to do during day, some work and a long talk with parents. Good thing I was feeling enough energy the whole day and the only thing I missed was not being able to go to sleep at 10:00 pm, I took some extra time till 11:15 pm.
On the other hand I had enough time for writing and even made one more story for kids. I'm planning to open a new category at KreativeKafe.com this week. Wow, who could believe I would be writing books for children! :))))
Tuesday, August 22:
Success! I also had a long walk in the evening in Pflugerville park while my son had his soccer practice. I still need to be in a better shape, evenings are pretty warm in our region, more than 30C at 9:00 pm and my hands swell after an hour of walking. Need to drink more water and loose more weight, time to make some adjustments.
Wednesday, August 23:
Sucess, acually double success! We opened our season two of writing sessions with Mercedes. Last school year we were meeting every Wednesday to read "The right to write" by Julia Cameron and to write, of course. I'm very happy we will continue our practices during this school year as well.
Thursday, August 24:
Day completed as planned plus a long walk in the evening. Great news from Maxim - he received official certificate by Confucius Institute for Youth Chinese language level 2 with maximim 200 points.
Friday, August 25:
Lazy day, but mission completed. Did my exercise in the evening. Waiting for Hurricane Harvey. It should not affect a lot Austin area, bur heavy raining and strong winds are expected.
Saturday, August 26
Sunday, August 27
Mission failed. I have several good excuses. First, ant's bite on Thursday caused inflammation in a very uncomfortable place on the leg and it was difficult for me to walk.
Second, all my thoughts and time were dedicated to hurricane Harvey that affected Texas tremendously. Austin was not affected, but several big areas including Houston were badly flooded.
Third, the week was had, I needed a little brake. I know this is a lame excuse but mission continues next week. No reason to stop.
Good luck for me on week 2 :)
