Nice and fast crochet scarf pattern "Dreaming about winter" was waiting for years to be created and published. Years ago I bought wonderful hand dyed yarn and it was waiting for long time till I finally found a project that made it shine.
And even more years ago I created free crochet baktus scarf pattern "Dreaming about winter" that became unexpectedly popular on Ravelry. It was easy and fun to make. Unfortunately, it's first copy became a size for a baby after I washed it in hot water because of a silly mistake. Many days passed till I decided to do something about it. It was boring to repeat a baktus, so I modified the stitch pattern and transformed triangle shaped crochet piece into a traditional scarf pattern.
"Dreaming about winter" crochet scarf pattern is a fun and meditative fast one skein project. The front and the back sides both look nice, in my opinion it's important for scarves. Pattern is easily adjustable to any size, you just measure your favourite scarf to have a reference.
You can use any kind of yarn of any color, but I especially recommend fingering yarn (about 400 m in 100 grams) or thinner. Solid colors are great, prints will also look wonderful in the finished item. One skein of yarn, two-three free evenings and the scarf is ready.
Enjoy!
